At Little Orchard Montessori Nurseries we aim to provide a caring, friendly environment where your child is encouraged to follow their own interests, learn at their own pace and have fun whilst doing so.
We use the highly acclaimed Montessori Method to ensure we bring out the very best in every child. Our settings are full of interesting things to do and your child is given the freedom to express what interests them.
Our day nurseries, in Devon, are small enough to enable us to deliver a personal and individual approach to your child’s development but big enough to allow your child to engage with others and learn important social skills.
A typical Day
STARTING THE DAY
If your child is attending one of our nurseries their day may well start at 7:30 am with a breakfast of cereal or toast which they have helped to prepare themselves. Other children will arrive at 9 and are greeted and settled into a specific area with their key person...
Food at Little Orchard
We offer breakfast, a two course hot lunch, high tea plus morning and afternoon snacks at all of our nurseries.
Our cooked meals are prepared and cooked on the premises by a qualified chef using fresh ingredients which are both locally produced and organic wherever possible.
Salad or vegetables to accompany the meal are prepared fresh every day and the children often get involved with preparing meals and making desert.
Meals are not compulsory please ask us about supplying your own food
